Turning off the money spigot to our politicians.
In a pique of anger yesterday, I wrote to Howard Dean and the DNC stating that until I saw Bush/Cheney up for impeachment, they wouldn't receive a single donation from me before then.

It occurred to me after, with many of our Senators and Congressmen up for reelection in 2006, we should make it clear to them that we will not donate to their campaigns if between now and then they don't make an effort to put impeachment on the calendar, sooner rather than later. Would this work, you think, to get some action or would we just be shooting ourselves in the foot?

1. Every state Gov. should withhold all federal tax dollars
from DC until a full investigation of why Bush didn't respond sooner to NO. We pay for HS and FEMA if they don't work we want the money to pay people that will.

3. That's a great idea if it could be done. Just dry up the money
reservoir until they are gone.

2. I don't give them anything anymore either.
They do shit for us, yet continue to hold out their hand. But, I almost dare Jesse Jackson to ask me for money. Because he will be the only one to get it.

4. That's the truth.
Clinton and old Bush were on the TV today begging for money for hurricane relief. I thought we paid taxes for that and now they still have their hands out for more. It's time they started using the people's tax money for the benefit of the people.

5. One has to wonder where Jesse Jackson
got the money to get the buses in and those people out. It wouldn't surprise me if he used his own. Why couldn't all Dem's have done the same. They have plenty. What about Kerry and his millionaire wife? They didn't have a mill laying around somewhere?

6. Stop 1 (one) week of aid to Iraq....thats worth a billion +
My pockets have been picked dry by these thieves.

What we are seeing in N.O. is exactly what they are doing in Iraq. We just can't see it all over the TV like we can here.

People are commodities. Lose a few hundred or thousand...that just doesn't matter.

No armored vehicles for the soldiers, no food or rescue for the stranded, suffering hurricane victims.

Just another glitch in the master plan.
