Poll question: Will Bush Survive?
Will George W. Bush survive the aftermath of the Hurricane Cindy and Hurricane Katrina? How?

1. Yes. The media will go back to fawning over him.

3. I'm not 100% convinced that the media
will go back to fawning over him after this. Sure, some of them will (the usual suspects), but I think this has truly emotionally affected a large number of reporters. I don't think they are faking the tears and the emotional outbursts we have seen over the past few days. Reporters aren't "supposed" to do those kind of things - these guys have truly reached the limit of what a human being can witness before they begin to react instinctively. I think for some, once they sort out all of the dirty details (once they've had time to really process what happened) there will be no turning back from their loathing of this administration* and the misery it has caused.

2. Yes, he will serve out this term, but...
he will be the most hated president in American history. His party will be damaged for decades to come, like after Hoover. And we will not hear any more talk of a "Bush dynasty," other than from the dead-ender remnants of his cult.

5. He'll leave office on January 20th, 2009.
Unfortunately. He'll serve out his term.

7. The Wregime will arrange some "victory" in Iraq
They'll force through a bogus constitution (W has already tried this) so they can hoist the "freedom is on the march" flag, and any MSM attempts to report the aspects of the constitution that encourage oppression of women and Balkanization of Iraq, leading to a Sunni alliance with Iran, will be stifled.

I predict this happens by Halloween. Trick or trick!

9. Although I voted "No, he will be forced to resign."
I don't really believe that will happen. In times like this, we all need something to hope for (what I really hope for is that he is brought up on charges of criminally negligent homicide.) In fact, I believe that now that Rove and Cheney have crawled out from whatever rocks they were hiding under, the spin will start and they will pin the whole mess of someone else.

11. Yes. Our own leaders will be so hesitant to point out Bush's failure
that the GOP will have the country blaming Clinton's dick by next Wednesday.

Happened right before the hurricane hit.
