CNN: By 5:00 pm FRIDAY, Katrina was forecast to to be a Cat 4.... |
|
...hurricane. Additionally, New Orleans was forecast in the zone of the highest strike probability. That was 2.5 days prior to the actual landfall.
The 1.2 million residents of New Orleans need 72 hours to completely evacuate the city. ----------------------------------
What happened? Why was NOTHING done?

5. Maddy McCall posted a map Friday afternoon |
|
that showed a consensus of model tracks putting the storm between Barataria Bay and Bay St. Louis.
BTW, Maddy McCall, where are you? Are you OK? Thank you. That map helped get a lot of my peeps out early.
