If I meet one person who says that these people "got what they deserved"
then I cannot be held responsible for what I do to them. I'll blow my cork, and it will be ugly.

I'm seeing and hearing all of these stories about callers to right wing radio talk shows, posts on right wing message boards and Republican co-workers and acquaintances of DUers making these kinds of statements.

2. Meet one? Impossible-
They hide behind computer keyboards using pseudo macho names on foums and in chatrooms, and call from the safety of their trailers/mansions anonymously on phones.
I'd meet up with any of them right fucking now. Not kidding.
We'll settle this shit once and for all. Bring 'em on!

3. it happened to me thursday at work...
i asked a co-worker coming in on 2nd shift what gas prices were, and for some reason he takes this as an opening to start a tirade against NO'ers that stayed behind. he was LIVID that people received "free helicopter rides, free food, free water", and that THEY backed the sewers up in the superdome. i tried to explain that the sewers were backed up because they wer UNDER WATER, but he would hear none of it. By this time, 2 other co-workers came by and were listening...so i said, "so, to recap your position, they're all just a bunch of dirty stupid n******s, and we should let 'em die", right? HE SHRUGGED HIS SHOULDERS AND SAID, "YEAH, MOSTLY".

i was shaking. i was red. i wanted to throttle the SOB.
F**K YOU, me and you are DONE! DO NOT SPEAK TO ME AGAIN, YOU RASCIST PIECE OF SHIT! ROT IN HELL!

The three of us walked off without another word to him. I believe his popularity (which was small to begin with) is dropping rapidly.

It took me two hours to calm down, after getting home and fixing a couple of drinks.

6. Geve 'em this-
If the people should have known how bad it would be, how can George claim to NOT have known?

8. Good point. Bush and his cronies are saying over and over again...
... that the disaster was "not reasonably foreseeable." And they're allegedly the experts. So how were Joe and Jane Workingstiff supposed to see what was coming?

This was all "not reasonably foreseeable," yet ordinary people, local authorities and the state governors should have done more to prevent it.

Then, when it was no longer a matter of foreseeing anything -- when the disaster was right here on TV for the whole wold to see -- Bush and his cronies STILL did nothing... until Bush could fly in for a photo op at the EXACT MOMENT relief trucks began arriving in New Orleans.

Seriously, Bush apologists are damaged, damaged people. Cognitively impaired. Dark spots on the brain-scan.

And, frankly, a danger to America.

7. Start by unloading on this a-hole
Sorry, I would have started a new thread with this, but I don't have enough posts to do so yet! This thread is as good a place as any to post it in, though.

New Orleans aparently deserved it -

“New Orleans now is abortion free. New Orleans now is Mardi Gras free. New Orleans now is free of Southern Decadence and the sodomites, the witchcraft workers, false religion -- it's free of all of those things now," Shanks says. "God simply, I believe, in His mercy purged all of that stuff out of there -- and now we're going to start over again."
