3. Please change your subject line -
and, I read that article earlier - this part is chilling:

“This is making a lot of us think about not reenlisting.” Ferguson said. “You have to think about whether it is worth risking your neck for someone who will turn around and shoot at you. We didn’t come here to fight a war. We came here to help.”

Bushco will use incidents like this to turn the troops against it's citizens. Police state.

4. Posse Comitatus Act
There are a number of exceptions to the act. These include:

National Guard units while under the authority of the governor of a state;

Troops when used pursuant to the Federal authority to quell domestic violence as was the case during the 1992 Los Angeles riots;

The President of the United States can waive this law in an emergency;

5. Anyone who goes in hoping for Somalia
I hope they get an extra large helping of Mogadishu.

Actually, Honore seems to be a right fellow. (He's originally from New Orleeans; Honore' is an old family name on the Braud side). Hopefully he will straighten this asshole out.

There's one on my local newspaper discussion board, who talked about having to be mobilized, and then posted some nonsense from Spectator.org talking about what sub-human New Orleans are and how they will have to be virtually re-education, and that this presented and oportunity for that.

I told him to fuck off. I told him if that was the attitude of the North Dakota National Guard, their assistance is not welcome. Stay home.

They guys need to sling their rifles. In fact, I think there should be no more than one or two armed men or women in any squad, and the rest there to help. The armed ones can protect them from the small groups of junkies and gangbaners.

6. let me get this straight
Dozens of military trucks and up-armored Humvees left the staging area just after 11 a.m. Friday, while hundreds more troops arrived at the same staging area in the city via Black Hawk and Chinook helicopters.

So we don't have armored vehicles in Iraq but we do have them in New Orleans, unbelieveable.

Citizens of this nation. Good luck now, heroes, explaining this to your brethren abroad who have families shot dead in the streets of NO.

11. That is why this operation needs to be returned to CIVILIAN CONTROL
FEMA has been militarized and this is obviously turning out to be a very bad idea.
