1. Ate cake, golfed, played the guitar - don't have the links, sorry...
Little Boy Gorge had a nice time of it. Good thing, too, since I think that he now realizes he is toast.

3. Here's What I Heard.......
While On A Golf Course On Tuesday * Was Asked By Reporters
why are you on this golf course when the country is facing a disaster?

* surrounded by a cadre of secret service men replied, "I'm here responding to the disaster on the golf course".

To which the reporters said - "Not golf course - Gulf Coast"

The cushiest hotel in San Diego.

7. I haven't found any proof that he played golf
But if it's out there I would love to have it. Not that it matters. His depraved indifference is already on record for the world to see.

NEVER FORGET:

On Sunday, as headlines report "Katrina Packing Wind of Nearly 175 Mph" and New Orleans is ordered to evacuate, Bush finally resurfaces in a taped appearance. He makes brief remarks about Katrina and then discusses Iraq. Transcript: http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2005/08/20050828-1.html Later the White House issues one photo of Bush being briefed on Katrina.

As the hurricane rages, Bush flies to Arizona for a "Conversation on Medicare." Upon landing, he presents John McCain with a birthday cake. He then flies to San Diego to spend the night at the luxury resort Hotel del Coronado, reportedly attending a fundraiser that night.

As floodwaters inundate New Orleans and the Gulf Coast reels from the catastrophe, Bush speaks at a VJ-Day ceremony in San Diego. Afterwards singer Mark Wills presents him with a guitar. He then returns to Crawford for the night.

Bush finally returns to Washington. AF1 flies over New Orleans so Bush can view the disaster. Back at the WH he makes his first official statement about the aftermath of Katrina.

8. Someone saw some Golf Clubs on his Jet. Doesn't mean nothing
as I'm sure he has replaced the "escape pod" with a video archade. Air Force One is actually Air Fun One. It is his vacation afterall. The sheets in the bedroom on that plane are "Rocket Robin Hood" too.

10. Sadly, he wasn't the only one
Patrick Kennedy came to NH to play golf with former congressional candidate Justin Nadeau (who ran 15 points behind Kerry and Lynch, BTW) and to raise money at a shrimp-and-lobster cocktail party at the home of Nadeau's parents.

Patrick Kennedy and Justin Nadeau are an embarrassment to the Democratic Party.

Two guys whose families have been involved in politics for ages, and they thought it would be smart to have a golf photo op while disaster was unfolding? What did they do on 9/11, play squash?

13. Greg Palast said it
here:

http://www.commondreams.org/views05/0902-32.htm

and Rosa Brooks mentions him and his guitar:

http://www.commondreams.org/views05/0903-24.htm

Haven't seen any other mention of it. But the timeline/photos above are bad enough plus he rushed to make a recess appointment before Congress came back:

http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2005-09-01-recess-appointment_x.htm

It makes me wonder how big a disaster has to be to get him on a plane to the WH immediately...
