This is simply a monumental failure of leadership.

seeing them finally getting help and getting out... but I want to use that breath to start making the villains pay. Not that I know how.
This has been CRIMINAL! Literally. Negligent homicide.

There are a LOT of rescue workers (me included) sitting around waiting for deployment orders, and as much as we wpould all love to run down there and pull people from flood zones we have to pe paitent and wait. The responders of LA,MI. and other areas hit by this storm will need to be releived in the coming weeks and months, So you have to have a reserve of trained responders to 'Rescue the Rescuers' so we can go down there and help them recover as well.

4. Too late for the dead and many of the living |

I can't stop thinking about how many lives might have been saved had help arrived in time. Nor can I stop thinking about how many survivors must have already gotten sick from the filthy conditions and haven't gotten treatment soon enough.
