Edited on Sat Sep-03-05 04:16 PM by proud patriot
by a ponytailed chicken hawk today ......

I'm in a blue county in the blue state of California

when he told me that I responded "there are a lot of dicatorships
in the world we are free to disagree with our government here"

that was fun :D

1. I'd have told him to get the hell out of OUR nation
We're not giving it up to neo-fascists so easily.

3. I'd charge admission to that right now...
...and use the proceeds to help NO evacuees in Dallas.

5. UGH
I get that from my own relatives.

What do you do?

I usually end up getting in a heated argument with them, unfortunately. But I am not the type to shut up. Oh well. Thank goodness I wasn't born in Saudi Arabia. Or 1850.

And, a related question: why is it that, in the USA today, you cannot be against the administration/government AND the terrorists?

13. The same reason why
'communist' is what everyone who is against the government at any time is labelled.

It's already being accompanied by 'radical', 'extremist', and I'm sure sooner than later that 'terrorist' will be skewed to mean something even more different.

6. What promoted him to tell you to move out of the country?
How do you know he was a chicken hawk?

11. well he was stuck behind me at a light a didn't like my stickers
started driving like a madman screeching his tires to pass me
while We turned passing me and weaving in and out of traffic.

I rolled my window down at the next light a mile or so
down the road and so did he , I said to him "you drive
like a maniac" he said "you got a problem with that" I
said "I would if my son was in the car" he then gestured
at my car and said "you should move out the country"
I retorted "there are a lot of dictatorships in the world
we are free to disagree with our Government here" the light
turned green and I made my left turn .

his ponytail most likely took 5 years if not more to grow .
he looked my age which is 36 hence the chicken hawk assumption.

14. Comedian Barry Crimmins has the best response to this old crap
When confronted for his criticism of U.S. policies with the tired rejoinder of "if you hate America so much, why don't you leave?", his response is "I wouldn't want to be subject to its foreign policy".

Stops 'em in their tracks every time.
