Anyone else think Bush enjoys seeing other people suffer?
Maybe he went to Iraq because he could any Poppy didn't. We know he enjoyed blowing up frogs as a kid, and he sure seems like a conceited bully who has to get his way. I am beginning to think he gets a perverse pleasure out of creating havoc and suffering.

9/11: Reads "My Pet Goat" as the second plane hits, then disappears into Airforce One for the day.

Tsunami: No statement or help for three days.

Iraq: no plan to win the peace, lets it sink into chaos.

Katrina: Plays guitar, eats cake and raises money while people suffer. No help brought in for 5 days.

There is a pattern here.

2. That's it
He just doesn't care. Typical sociopathic response and use of power.

3. I think he can't be bothered. He doesn't see people of any color.
Well he does see the 'haves and have mores' but he even insults them to their faces. Ever notice that? I think he has a serious inferiority complex.

4. "Oh please don't let me die"
ala Karla Faye Tucker. Watching the people of New Orleans begging for help. It is horrible that I can even imagine him doing this.

7. No. I think Bush just doesn't care. And his incompetence and disregard...
Is evil enough as it is. But Cheney and the rest are evil to the core and only think about oil money.

8. "Anyone else think Bush enjoys seeing other people suffer?"
i think he is totally immune to the suffering of others. i can't believe how naive i am after the past five years - i actually held out some hope that his walking tour of the devastation yesterday would affect some kind of human change in the man. how stupid could i be? this catastrophe, 9/11, the war, none of the human cost means a thing to this fucking automoton. no matter what it is, the only objective for bush and his people is how do we take advantage of this for political/financial gain. there is never any thing else on their minds, never.

10. Welcome to DU, barbtries.
A lot of us were naive once. But once your eyes are open, there's no going back.

11. George W. Bush: Sadist or Sociopath?
I go back and forth on that one. Sometimes I think he has no human feelings at all, but then I see that nasty little gleam in his eye that only shows up when he's talking about people being killed, and then I wonder.

14. Somehow the tables need to be turned
We need to put the pressure on to ythe point he resigns. How many deaths is he directly responsible for with his actions?

When will the rest of the country wake up? It's driving me insane.
