Troops begin combat operations in N. O. (calls them 'insurgents!')
Troops begin combat operations in New Orleans 02 Sep 2005 Combat operations are underway on the streets "to take this city back" in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina... ...Dozens of military trucks and up-armored Humvees left the staging area just after 11 a.m. Friday, while hundreds more troops arrived at the same staging area in the city via Black Hawk and Chinook helicopters. While some fight the insurgency (?!?!?) in the city, other carry on with rescue and evacuation operations. (Right, and as in the case in Iraq, we'll refer to the New Orleans 'insurgents' as RESISTANCE FIGHTERS. They are *RESISTING* the terrorists who have seized our government, in two coup d'etats. The Bush regime is either allowing people to die, due to their incompetence (at best), or trying to kill as many poor people as possible (at worst).)

5. Whackjob Bush would have allowed thousands more to die, but even...
Faux News had a few reporters essentially ranting about the non-response from the Bush Administration (regime).

that it is the fault of the senator and mayor who didn't ask for help soon enough.

3. God Lord, are they fucking bonkers? They're gonna shoot starving parents?
Edited on Sat Sep-03-05 04:57 PM by Bucky
Insanity. You know the first people to be shot will be parents trying to loot a store to feed their kids. Since we went from Tuesday to Friday with no absolutely mass food deliveries and now on Saturday we're only getting spotty food deliveries, this in effect is the government using troops to declare "quit eating, or we'll shoot you."

Criminal behavior. Tyrannical behavior.

8. Our Bloody Sunday?
I've been so afraid this would happen with all those armed jumpy troops facing desperate people. We've seen it over and over when confrontation time comes.

Sunday, Bloody Sunday.....please don't let it happen in New Orleans.

9. Bush wants the average person to clamor for a police state...

By letting the pics of 'anarchy' and violence spread, Rove knows that people will get accustomed to US soldiers fighting against US citizens, during times of civil unrest.
