17. Better yet
we will walk back with them to reclaim our land. And we just might start singing Bob Marley's song "Exodus."

7. No, I'm just responding to all those insulting the Democratic handling
of the NO crisis when Democrats are not in charge. That's the reason who we elect for President is so important. Presidents get to put fourth budgets that gut relief efforts as this loser President has.

4. They could be
if they had a pair.

This coculd be used to destroy the Republican Party forevermore.

But the so-called Democratic "Leadership" are scared of their own shadows, so of course thwy won't seize the moment and take charge.

Hell, the silence from Hillary Clinton alone has been deafening.

6. Hilary Clinton made a statment today. But when the media covers
the hurricane 24/7 they don't ask Dems what they think. They will soon I'm certain.

So far Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, the CBC, Clark, Edwards, Kucinich and others have held Bush accountable. They are all Democrats.

9. Got a link to her statement?
BTW, Clark, Edwards, and Sharpton are not part of the Democratic Leadership. Not one of them holds elected office.

Kucinich, though not part of the leadership per se, has demonstrated real leadership for quie some time.

12. They are not
part of the congressional leadership. But they are part of the democratic leadership. I think that you are both right: the congressional leadership is reacting with silence, because they are afraid of being accused of "playing politics." The real leadership, which in congress is the Black Caucus, and in the greater society includes Edwards, Clark, and Jackson, represents the interests of those in NO.

14. Here is her statement:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/09/02/AR2005090202079.html

One must read between the lines, but I'm sure this is the beginning of things to come.

She has not criticized Bush directly as Clark and Edwards have. But as I said - I expect more in the future.

13. Uh yeee-aaah... that must be it!
that must be why the Government, in the fifth year of G.W. Bush's Administration, is blowing HOMELAND SECURITY so badly.
The DEMOCRATS must be in charge...somehow.
It looks like a Republican controlled House and a Republican controlled Senate and a Republican Presidency with a Republican appointed majority on the Supreme Court bench, but SECRETLY the Democrats have taken control.

Or else HOW could things be so going so badly?

16. You should ask
Are Democrats being screwed every election cycle by E-Voting machines?
Since 2000 when Clinton Curtis wrote a program that enabled the user to manipulate the vote the Democrats have lost each time 2000-2002-
2004..Something is very wrong here !!
