remember the hurricane in "Forrest Gump?"
the weird thing about that movie is that it really did make me think, and I cannot figure out if the makers of the movie intended that or not.

And one of the things that made me think was the hurricane part. Gump got rich off the hurricane, but what about the unlucky ones?

Is their story left to be told in another, less popular movie?

(and incidentally, Gary Sinise (Lt. Dan) is a big supporter of the Iraq fiasco)

1. Yeah! I wonder if there are any Forest Gump's limping home
on their fishing boats? I love shrimp and am very worried about my scampi supply!

I made, what I am anticipating, my last Shrimp Scampi w/ fettucini dinner last night. I am hoping I am wrong.

3. Ironically the Character of Lt. Dan

...dies in Iraq in Desert Storm according to the second part of Forrest Gump (Gump and Co.) in the story by Winston Groom.

I doubt I ruined this for any true Gump fans who have already read the book.
