This is a total disaster. Bush can appoint two young jurists with no records (a la Roberts) who can swing the court to the conservative for the next 30-40 years. Heaven help the wrongfully convicted, the poor who can't afford counsel, women who need abortions. I, thankfully, am not in any of those positions, but as a lawyer, I can see the disaster coming.
