Why did the govt NOT call upon UPS and Fed Ex for transporting people?
My husband brought that up. FedEx is based in Nashville and I'm sure they would have donated planes as soon as the winds died down, as would UPS or DHL. Or they could have moved water and supplies there instantly. How hard would it have been to get people to the airport right away? Or am I mistaken and the water made any sort of transport impossible right away? Why take 100 people in one bus when you could have brought hundreds in a cargo plane. It's not fancy, but better than dying in sweltering dome.

2. why not have used them before the hurricane hit? and every single mode of
transport they could have rounded up, including dealership cars, which are no good now anyway.

5. Bush wants people to die.
If he doesn't make a political or personal profit, poor people can die and relieve the surplus population.
