Our country is in chaos. New Orleans disaster relief has shown our inability to deal with disasters because all our National Guard troops are in Iraq.

So where are all these al-Qaeda splinter cells supposedly hiding out in America with their dirty bombs and their suitcase nukes and their floorplans for the Sears Tower and the Capitol Records building?

Why haven't terrorists exploited our weakness? Is it possible that this whole al-Qaeda thing has been - well, uh - overstated?
