Grover Norquist's Words Keep Coming Back To Mind
I think this is how they feel about Americans as witnessed by their actions this week.

"Republicans and conservatives can best advance the cause of civility by working hard to finish off the hopes of the Democrats for any return to power. It is like neutering barnyard animals: they are much calmer, less likely to cause damage, and easier to control. As the vet says, "They will be happier; this is good for them." " -Grover Norquist

1. That and wanting to shrink the federal government to the point it
would drown in a bathtub.

Seems to me it did.

3. Grover could stand a touch of his own medicine.
He's getting a bit too shrill lately.

7. I thought you were going to give the quote about
reducing government to the size that it could be drowned in the bathtub. Well, they reduced the size of government, alright, but the only thing that drowned was New Orleans.
