On one hand, I'm angry about Rehnquist’s death, the prospect of which |

no doubt had Bush drooling all over himself; a sort of “how dare he die now”. On the other hand, he was an old man who died in the comfort of his own bed under his own roof, who made bad decisions that affected us all. And although I am fully aware the Rehnquist death has longer term implications, I find myself somewhat less than interested or impressed.
To me, the more immediate and important issue is Katrina and anyone who hasn't been rescued and evacuated.
Unlike Rehnquist, a lot of people died horribly in fear and terror due to governmental neglect following Katrina and while I think the blame can be spread all the way up and down the line, for me the blame still comes back to where the buck always should stop...George Bush's desk.
