Cry for your Countrymen
Cry for your fellow countrymen, countrywomen, and countrychildren today....for they were shat upon by empty suits. They were shat upon by empty, walking talking suits that control whether they live or die.

The biggest, emptiest suit of all says it "understands". It says it is going to make things right. It stages false sympathy by turning two young women towards a camera...while thousand of our fellow taxpayers are dieing in their own piss and shit. It smirks and says the relief effort was "unacceptable" while our innocent babies die of dehydration.

It visits our ravaged areas in clean clothes, surrounded by security and creature comforts, while our people dry out internally and starve.

It really doesn't understand afterall, because it does not have to SMELL what he has done by delaying relief to OUR people.

It eats cake and plays guitar while we are being raped and ravaged and reduced to animals.

It does not understand. It does not care. It does not feel. It died inside a long time ago. It will not rot in hell, because it is already rotted.

1. My continued tyraide of letters upon all of Congress:
Below...

This entire incident lies on all of your shoulders.

The response time and emergency aid given by FEMA Is totally and completely unacceptable. This is an abysmal failure at ALL levels of government, and nobody can tell me anything else when it comes to Hurricaine Katrina.

The first mistake for this unbelievable hole was diverting funding to the Iraq war, which has caused a clusterfuck in the middle east and completely stripped our National Guard presence in the coast. We should have at least 60,000 or more troops, and taken from Iraq alone where the LA and MS guard are stationed.

We're in that war to begin with for oil, and oil alone and it is high time Congress re-evaluate its priorities once and for all. All democrats and republicans both, who stand by and continue to fail to hold this administration accountable are at fault for this disaster.

In light of that, read the news from the front page of CNN: http://www.cnn.com

The horror stories, racism and class division are extra-ordinary!!!! We do not ever have this happen in America, only in sickening third world countries. We are human beings and its time we damn well act like it!

Further, if you are not going to be part of the solution you are part of the problem and we the people will NEVER forget. So if you want to associate with this horror story of government and become part of the problem, we're going to hold you as the same failure that our administration is.

So shape up or ship out!!! One of you better damn well be calling for their resignations and starting impeachment proceedings. The Pentagon people who were stalling investigations are gone now, there is no exscuses now. We got the Guard out of Iraq, but can we get the Iraq out of the guard? Shame on you, you work for us and don't you forget it!

Do what you were put in place to do and bring accountability NOW, not later and end the price gouging. Hold hearings on the administrations failures. And to all those who are even thinking about doing something else, I demand your resignation right now. This is completely appalling and we the people of these United States will not have it for one day more!

We're not going anywhere.

Write your outrage to LTTEs and into cong. to make your demands:

2. I am crying for New Orleans - we've lost our soul as a country
in more ways than one - this government did not act to save this city and its people

'Do you Really Know What it means to lose New Orleans'
Anne Rice

http://www.nytimes.com/2005/09/04/opinion/04rice.html

-snip-

I know that New Orleans will win its fight in the end. I was born in the city and lived there for many years. It shaped who and what I am. Never have I experienced a place where people knew more about love, about family, about loyalty and about getting along than the people of New Orleans. It is perhaps their very gentleness that gives them their endurance.

They will rebuild as they have after storms of the past; and they will stay in New Orleans because it is where they have always lived, where their mothers and their fathers lived, where their churches were built by their ancestors, where their family graves carry names that go back 200 years. They will stay in New Orleans where they can enjoy a sweetness of family life that other communities lost long ago.

But to my country I want to say this: During this crisis you failed us. You looked down on us; you dismissed our victims; you dismissed us. You want our Jazz Fest, you want our Mardi Gras, you want our cooking and our music. Then when you saw us in real trouble, when you saw a tiny minority preying on the weak among us, you called us "Sin City," and turned your backs.

Well, we are a lot more than all that. And though we may seem the most exotic, the most atmospheric and, at times, the most downtrodden part of this land, we are still part of it. We are Americans. We are you.
