Just seen on MSNBC. A bar in the French Quarter has re-opened and friends, I suspect that a drink is EXACTLY what is needed by a lot of folks. Also, a street performer was outside with an electric guitar.
I think that the city's spirit is still extant. Who knows? We might even see Mardi Gras next February.
