Has there been any explanation for VP Cheney's absence...
Edited on Sun Sep-04-05 09:05 AM by theHandpuppet
... in this time of national crisis?

Are you listening, MSM?

I thought not. Well, I guess since he's now reappeared with that damned smirk glued on his face we aren't supposed to wonder where in the hell he's been, huh?

1. Nah, but according to Bush,
"Dick Cheney can be Vice President"

At least when he fucking feels like it.

2. Counting out his money

Sing a song of sixpence a pocket full of rye,
Four and twenty blackbirds baked in a pie.
When the pie was opened the birds began to sing,
Oh wasn't that a dainty dish to set before the king?
The king was in his counting house counting out his money,
The queen was in the parlour eating bread and honey
The maid was in the garden hanging out the clothes,
When down came a blackbird and pecked off her nose!

3. There is something very very wrong about having a VP that disappears
for weeks at a time. And when he does it causes people to be upset and nervous because you know, other than if he was having heart problems, the disappearance isn't a good thing.

5. I think he has been in a 'secure location' in anticipation of a
popular revolt that would end up with him and * strung up by their heels.

Once again, he's wrong.
