So Bush can respond to Renquist's death in less then 24 hours
while it took him 5 days to respond to the NOLA disaster.

Way to go asshole.

4. HE needs to block out the SUnday-morning news shows
so they cannot discuss what he did and did not do about the Hurricane.

He does not give a flying fuck over Rhenquist's death.

I some how think Congress might have better things to do they worry about filling SC vacancies. Good excuse to delay the Roberts hearing. You know everything changed after Hurricane Katrina.

6. Serious question. Has he lost any significant support among...
Republicans? The country is in even more serious condition if he has not lost massive support snce the hurricane.

17. I had a pro-Bush redneck say "we can't get rid of him fast enough"
to me last night - I'd say that was a loss of support :D

I thought it was three days for him to open his mouth.

from Katrina and Bush's incompetence.

18. Everything B does now, including how much pomp to put
in the funeral and lowering the flag, etc becomes very tricky and coupled with the disaster. If the bastard cries at the funeral, that will be contrasted too with his smirks and jokes the first time he "addressed" the catastrophe.

22. How about a "moving" memorial?

Bush on a giant treadmill with the machine's screen showing his heart rate at 10 beats per minute while the list of dead scroll past. I hear blues playing in the background.

Bush has an ego like Kim Jong-il and Hussein, lovers of statues dedicated to themselves. I think the Chimp will go for this project!

21. I think I finally understand what these words mean
If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters—yes, even his own life—he cannot be my disciple.

Jesus wasn't referring to your own mother or father, he was referring to the government. These words use to always bother me. Why would Jesus want me to hate MY FATHER & MOTHER? Now the passage makes a lot more sense.
