Looks like the Sunday shows aren't buying the hurricane response spin
I am glad they are not buying all of the crap being thrown out there. Bush is getting hammered.

5. Why should they?
There is no way that ANYTHING that happened in NO could account for the abysmal FEMA response in Biloxi, Gulfport, and all the other towns in MS.

7. Landrieu tooks some shots and even Andrew Sullivan
Brooks looks neutered andeven Cokie Roberts took shots towards the end of this week.

There isn't a lot there to defend Bush. I agree with Sullivan, it is up to the Dems to capitalize. If not right now, soon while it is fresh in people's minds.

8. for the first time
the national media has Bush by the balls. They have video. They have first hand knowledge of the truth. They can PROVE he's lying.

I think that has been a problem all along. He (and his thugs) have been able to bully the media because they could not PROVE what we all knew to be true.

Now they can. That's what is different.

9. Meet the Press is going to start now and the lineup is another
front line that looks to be rough waters for Bush's response. The round table will have 2 people who KNEW this was going to happened.

Fasten your seatbelts Georgie Boy.

11. MTP and This Week sure haven't but Faux is in pure whore mode -
just the questions Chris Wallace asks come with a premise that everything is the local and state's fault.

It is so disgusting.

He played the tape of the Mayor, pissed off, saying get all the greyhound buses down here and get off your asses - then Wallace asked - "Is that kind of statement helpful in getting people to remain calm?" Arrggghh. Chertoff's answer actually defended the the Mayor which surprised me, he said such reactions were understandable because the local and state officials had been overwhelmed.

Then Wallace asked - The feds tried to take over the evacuation effort on Friday night, does that show that they don't have confidence in the state ....? I didn't hear the answer. I think I may have screamed. You don't have to take it over, just get the friggin people, helicopters, buses, etc. down there. Wow, they managed to do a lot of that without taking over once they actually started getting there on Saturday.

They are pure propaganda.
