Yes, you have just been taunted by your president, America. No, this is not the first time it has happened.

Thousands of people die because of not only a hurricane, but because of a neglecting, racist, classist, bastardization of a government. Then one of their own dies. Flags at half mast immediately, a press conference within 12 hours. If you believe this display was anything other than a big 'Fuck you. Bring it on!' to everyone that criticized the president, I'd have to call you a little more than naive.

And if you honestly believe it is okay for the president to not respond to the disaster in the gulf coast for days, where thousands of people are dead, then make a statement and lower the flags almost immediately after one racist man dies... I don't even know WHAT I'd say to you.
