What is a Parish President? |
|
The president of Jefferson Parish is on Meet the Press this morning. I believe a parish president is the same as what, in most states, would be called a county commissioner, or more accurately, the chair of the county commission.
Sound about right?

3. In Maryland, there are county executives. I think it's the same. |

Not sure if that's equivalent or not to county commissioner.
