How many think AAR should go live tommorrow. I think there is
way too much too talk about - despite it being labor day. Usually they do "best of" repeats on holidays. Randi talked about doing her show live on Monday, if your out there- Randi, please do we need you. Atleast all the Daytime programs should be live. Morning Sedition, Jerry, Al, and Randi, even if they have to use a sub. Subs last week for morning sedition were good. and Jay Marivn did a great job for Jerry a month or so back. He took all those righties that usually call Jerry apart. (They call Jerry more than the others because he is too nice to them and lets them get away with alot of shit) Rachel did an excellent job until that interview on Friday. Some Vouge mag./Bush friend that sounded like a guy. Randi was pissed off ou her being on AAR. Most important thing have someone on the air on labor day too much going on.

1. KXEB (Dallas) is already spoken for tomorrow
We're having a live broadcast for the Dallas County Democratic Party Labor Day Picnic. We expect to have local candidates speaking out, and hopefully some of them will be prepared to speak about New Orleans.

2. Jay Marvin was the shit, I wish he was national
I know Franken talked about being back on Monday.....I have to think AAR folks know what an advantage they have going live on Labor Day with all this chaos....

NO, Rehnquist, Iraq, too bad there's only 24 hours in a day

4. Franken will need to wait until
rush and sean and bill have had a few days to say things he can argue with.

Sorry but Al's program seems to be more dedicated to arguing with these RW pundits than to actually promoting liberal or progressive causes.

6. Are you saying you did not like Jay or did. He flirted to the
right at WLS for a brief time. I didn't like his evening show there. But now he is clearly kicking ass, blamed stations internal politics for some of his positions in Chicago. I believe it judging from what Mike Malloy said about WLS, with his experience there and being fired.

3. I don't think its repeats tomorrow
Or at least not all day. I think Laura Flanders may be taking the Al Franken show.

7. Laura is good -I hope so- I got pissed at Rachel because of that
interview on Friday. Its a shame because Rachel would have me sitting in my truck listening until a commercial came on. Doesn't mean I am not going to listen anymore. She is good. I just wish she didn't have that Vogue Mag person/Bush friend on that tried to blame LA Gov and NO Mayor for NO tragedy and on top of that she did not challenge her at all. I think she may have been a friend of Rachel's. Just don't do anything like that again Rachel and we will be fine.

8. I didn't hear it. just heard Randi pissing about it
I actually think Rachel is the best news person on that network- and that's saying a lot. I get more from an hour listening to her first thing in the morning than with 3 hours from some of the others.

9. Oh she fucked up on this one - most people who heard it
Edited on Sun Sep-04-05 11:55 AM by Prodemsouth
were in agreement on that. I didn't see one post defending Rachel on that interview. Most said they liked Rachel, but were very disappointed with her on this interview. But as I said or like me I don't think it means she is finished by any means- she just fucked up here. EVERYONE on AAR has said or done some stupid things from time to time- no one there is perfect- but I am glad we have AAR. NPR has to watch what they say because the Government has their hand in the wallet.
