Thinking back to the tsunami, and to a lesser degree the blackout, one thing I noticed is that everyone pulled out their digital cameras, video cameras, cell phones, etc. and documented what was happening. We've seen an extraordinary amount of news coverage, but I haven't seen any personal records, other than the guy who's blogging from his NO office. Especially considering the number of tourists stuck in the city, I'd think we'd be seeing more.

You will see isolated stories here and there on the web in the coming weeks about people having their cameras or videos taken from them. TV and other media will ignore the reports. Watch and see.
