What's going to happen to the next $80 Bil Iraq War appropriation request,
when New Orleans is still underwater and a million homeless people?

Seriously. I've been thinking about this today.

Are the Republicans going to vote for it? Clinton? Biden?

2. Oh, I have no doubt that day is coming... though they will no doubt try
to put it off beyond 2006 midterms if at all possible...

5. That I can't wait to see
Some of the dems with actual spines will question the sanity given the aftermath of Katrina. Maybe this tragedy will spur people to demand our troops home. We can't afford it all and the US is at the breaking point.

Hurricane season isn't over and I don't think this country could take another hit...even one with half the strength of Katrina could debilitate us to the point of complete breakdown.

Our future looks damn bad. Thanks, boy george. You got your fucking war, you got your fucking oil, you got your fucking rw nutjobs worshiping you, you got your fucking neocon assholes and you'll get your theocracy.
