Am I watching a fucking political ad re: Roberts confirmation?!?!?
You bet I am. They trash Biden and Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Then they show some pictures of the SCARY LIBERALS in congress; Kennedy, Pelosi, etc...Then they demand that we write our congress critters to DEMAND an "up-or-down" vote for Roberts.

Seriously, WTF is this? We're running political ads for positions that require NO VOTES now? (congressional votes, notwithstanding)

WTF is wrong with these dumbfucks?

1. I saw that ad earlier this week and went ballistic. GOP thinks about judge
s while NO drowns.

But then I figured they paid in advance.

But those ads are as stupid as you'd expect from the GOP.

3. Essentially, the ad says the Senate should not do their job.
A strict constructionist interpretation, I'm sure.

4. They want to stack the deck quick....
while everyone else worries about the real disaster of Katrina and the other disaster in DC (Fucking Bush).

5. Just another piece of
RW propaganda crap.

You know, if we'd gotten a chance to vote *fair and square*, we wouldn't have to be dealing with the loser who's residing in the WH right now. But we were screwed by the same corporate neo-cons backing Roberts' nom, and that's another story...
