WHAT? Gas lines in NOLA still pressurized? Just saw on Faux |
|
(in a moment of morbid curiosity I flipped onto it) they're showing gas bubbling up from under the flood water...at least that's what they're speculating. Is there any chance in hell they have NOT shut down the gas lines going into the city? My bizarrometer pegged days ago... :eyes: :wtf:

1. They were still on a few days ago |

I saw some footage of gouts of flame bursting up from the surface of the water in a couple of places.

2. I was wondering about that the other day |
|
There was a video report and it showed flames coming up out of a small spot of floodwaters. I presumed it was gas on fire. So this kind of thing could be going on all over if they don't shut the damned gas mains.

Think about it, what American energy company would let their profit get away without going though a meter?

Maybe it's being reserved as a way to get rid of the evidence?

7. underwater or no way to get to them |
|
i had to dig out a leaking main water valve where i worked-took two of us 8 hours of digging to get to it because the sides kept collapsing..had to go 12 out to go 6 feet down. there is no way to get to the valves untill the water is drained unless they completely shut off the entire area...
