Oprah is doing a show Tuesday about Katrina.

She's doing a show "on location". In case anyone needs reminding, she has 20 million + viewers in this country alone.

She does not host a political show, so I do not expect to hear that much political talk. I do expect her to raise awareness, and that can only be good for the victims/survivors.

I don't hate her because she's a "successful black woman." I just don't see her doing enough for her own, and I guess that's what I find disappointing. I mean, what was her performance on "The Color Purple" all about. Was it really all just acting?
