Where oh where are the adults?

You remember the adults. Unlike the undiciplined bunch which ran amok under Clinton the government was now going to be run by adults. Where I come from adults show up to work. Bush, Cheney, and Rice were all on vacation when this disaster struck and none of them came home immediately. Cheney is still on vacation as I type. Adults don't buy shoes and see Broadway plays while a great city slips into the ocean. Adults don't eat cake and strum the guitar while small costal towns have people straving and dehydrating. Adults don't fish in Wyoming while old people literally die in their lawn chairs. While we are at it, where on earth is Gonzales? Remember him, our AG, while lawlessness is being decried from every corner our AG hasn't been on TV anywhere.


Where, oh where is the integrity? Where I come from integrity means standing up and admitting mistakes. When has this crowd ever done that? Bagdad Bob Brown keeps telling us everything is hunky dory in NO and when he stops doing that he blames the people who didn't leave. Literally a day after the whole nation knew that thousands were at the Convention center, Bagdad Bob had no clue. Where are the rolling heads? Instead we hear "Blanco didn't ask us for aid (a lie)" "Nagan didn't use school busses" "People chose to stay" and other lies and excuses.

Where, oh where is the honor? Where I come from honor means you don't let the poor die while the rich flee. My denomination, the Disciples of Christ, had money in NO on Tuesday. They also had some food there on Tuesday. This from a church with just over a million members. Where was the National Guard? Where was the army? Where were the planes and ships? Honor my ass.

Too bad we can't trade this adminstration in on a different model. Oh wait, we could have. Too late now. Where to I go to find the adults?
