Why Didn't ALL the Senators Use Their Private Jets to Help Evacuate
the dispossessed in New Orleans?

Why wasn't a fleet of Senatorial Air Kings flying into New Orleans and loading up the stranded Americans and transporting them to safety?

Jefferson Parrish President sobbing on Meet The Press - one week after the hurricane - "We have been abandoned by our own country...the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina will go down as one of the worst abandonments of Americans on American soil ever in U.S. history...Nobody's coming to get us. Nobody's coming to get us. The secretary has promised. Everybody's promised. They've had press conferences. I'm sick of the press conferences. For God sakes, shut up and send us somebody."

Because "all the sentators" don't give a flying fuck about anything beyond their own stinky butts.

2. At least one reason: NOLA airport was closed Sunday when they issued
the mandatory evacuation.

But I doubt this was even seriously considerated. If something of the sort had to be done, the army has planes that can hold a lot of people. The answer is simpler: nothing was planed to evacuate the city.

3. Not all Senators have private jets. I've flown with tons of Senators
out of DCA and a lot of them fly coach.

4. Not to defend any Congresscritters, but few of them actually have
private planes...actually I can't think of even one who owns a jet (I have flown a LOT of them around over the years in chartered planes)

6. Okay then all those that do and all the CEO's
who have private jets would be required to donate their private jets for national disasters.
