When the election rolls around in 2 months
how are the displaced in NOLA, MS and AL going to be able to vote?

If their homes, schools, etc. are all destroyed and they're off in TX, where a residency is required, are their votes going to be null and void?

How is that issue being addressed or going to be addressed before election day?

kick because this is an important question... I'm shocked no one's responded, given all the rhetoric bandied about regarding regaining ground for the Dem party around here.

Midterm elections come up in two months---when a sweep of the thugs in the house, senate and governorships in this country can be made and Dems regain some important ground.

Tens upon thousands of people are not living in their districts of residency---and wont' be for a very, very long time. Are they going to be able to vote absentee? When is the cut off date for filing absentee? Who is going to tell the disenfranchised black voters, especially, what's up? In light of the history of voting rights abuses in those very states affected by Katrina, how are their votes going to get counted?

4. Can you explain what election is going to happen in "2 months"?
I believe you are mistaking this year for an election year.

5. You assume that
Local, state and federal officials even give a damn about people voting. Unfortunately, past practice shows they don't, unless they vote Repug.
