Tuesday is a Much Better day for the Katrina show..Monday being Labor Day..many will ge GONE!

I saw an Ophrah show before the election on the necessity of voting and it was Dead ON..no way anyone could walk away from that show and not know she was voting for Kerry/Edwards!

Just pointing it out.

I LIKE Oprah. But you have to admit, it's not all just 'entertainment' show. She really believes her mission is to change lives through television.

And she makes me cringe sometimes with all her celebrity drooling. It used to be cute when it was just, like, Tom Cruise (before he was so obivously nuts - uh-oh, hope the Church of Scientology doesn't sue me).

I just thought maybe she would devote, say, the whole WEEK to the hurricane. Plus a lot of people who WORK might be watching tomorrow who are not normal viewers. Like my mom, for instance.

But, yes, in general - props to Oprah. I admire Oprah. I don't want to tear Oprah down.

And, yes, for the record, I like Gwen, too, except that some of her statements about her Harajuku girls. Unless her treating them as accessories is just some form of pomo irony that I am too dense to comprehend fully... ?
