Is it possible for the citizens to bring a class action lawsuit |
|
against FEMA for gross negligence?
Seriously, I don't know....a member of my family said, "yes," but I am clearly interested in hearing from anyone on DU that knows the law on this one-

12. I think there's a law against suing government agencies |
|

13. I've been asking that same question |
|
I hear alot of DU'ers saying "the SCOTUS will never hear the case" or "the republicans will never impeach" Well I say fuck that either these assholes are out or I don't pay their goddam saleries anymore. They work for me. Incompetence is cause for firing at any company in America.

7. Those people need a lawyer |
|
who can advise them on who they can sue, and how much they should ask for.
John Edwards would be perfect.

8. I think they should. But I can hear the rumble of the presses as |
|
FEMA's legal people print out millions of legal documents giving victims no assistance unless they sign on the dotted line.

10. You do indeed have to wonder if undoing "class action law" last |
|
year was in anticipation of the way Bush administration would make the government & all government programs work.

With Federal Assets Seizure Teams suing the American People. We are now entitle to Equal Protection of Law under the US Constitution. We no longer need the Governments permission to sue them. They waived that protection with F.A.S.T. Legislation. I would file this as "We The People, USA vs. The New World Order Headquarters, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Washington DC." List Halliburton and Carlye Group as Satalites of the Mothership. Time to break out the Flashlight.

16. Just read the Constitution |
|
It's all laid out there very clearly.
The House votes to impeach. The Senate tries the case.
The people have no role other than through their elected representatives.
