Is it John Breaux?

Have we heard anything from him?

While Senator Landrieu takes charge and answers the call, where is the other senator?

1. He's David Vitter, a Republican who has been very critical
of the response.

5. Vitter was walking around with w the other day
I saw Vitter in the background of a lot of the w pr photos the last time the chimp was in NOLA.

Vitter is an extreme rightwinger. Big talk about "family values." You know the type.

2. John Breaux has been on doing interviews but he retired a while back
David Vitter(R) is the other Senator now.

4. You're not seeing him because he blamed Chertoff.
Said Homeland Security and FEMA "get an F, they flunked."

Somebody must have reeled him in after that remark because he hasn't been heard from since. But Tim Russert mentioned it on MTP this morning.

6. Its beyond amazing that a US senator can be muzzled
for complaining when his state is drowning.
