Earlier this morning there was a post about 60 people in a school |
|
who were the only ones left alive from the original 361 and were being forced to stay at gun point. It came with phone numbers and an address. Search isn't working -- anybody have the link? Thanks!

You know I'm getting tired of seeing threads like this get locked then finding out the next day they were true. Not to rip on the mods or anything, this is alot of work but I had a thread removed when I said the Government was purposefully holding back aid. Funny that those threads are no longer locked.

The report said FEMA was holding them there and they had no water? Was this true? How did they get out?

8. The thread was rather confused |
|
If you listened to the audio (from a radio programme, I think) on which it was based, you found that the man said they did have water, but the toilets weren't working, and there was crap everywhere. He said they weren't allowed to leave, but that there were now 60 of them there, compared with an original 380. However, he never said the rest had died, and his main concern was the toilets - and somehow, I think he would have mentioned if there were 320 bodies there too. So I think the 320 people had managed to leave somehow.
He also repeated some figures he'd heard about murders and rapes in the Superdome - which he, of course, had no idea of how accurate they were - and the thread got the impression that those had occurred in the school he was in. We also didn't know what day the audio was from.

9. The audio was from yesterday morning and |
|
it was a telephone conversation between friends that was recorded so that there would be a record of what he was saying.
The good news is that somehow (don't know the details) those people were evacuated to Memphis.
