If it takes the military 4 days to stage, what the hell are they worth? |
|
Edited on Sun Sep-04-05 06:59 PM by MassDemm
I am not troop bashing, but I am bashing their PR.
No way did it take 4-5 days for them to get ready to stage for relief.
But I have a feeling the sheeple will still follow.
Oh an by the way, that liar Honore can kiss my ass!

We know they can do better, so the blame is on those in charge. THEY dropped the ball!

2. Our troops are following orders.. the commander in chief is the one not |
|
Edited on Sun Sep-04-05 07:25 PM by bushisanidiot
doing his job and giving the a-ok for the commanders on the ground to do what needs to be done.. the commander who's been working so hard in n.o. all week was more of a maverick who didn't care about orders.. as soon as his boots hit the ground he worked his ass of to get done what needed to get done..
AWOL Bush commanded NORAD to stand down on 9/11/01 and i believe he had commanded FEMA and the military to stand down all week until he was ready for a photo-op days after the hurricane hit

7. I know, I read that, I am being facetious here. I know they were there |
|
Honore is saying they needed the time to plan and activate.
Am I the only one who heard him say this?
He is lying, about it, we all know that.

9. I suspect they (the military) did prep. |
|
National Guard did not, unless individual governors had them called to readiness.
FEMA ... can't tell.
Order of events: issue request for specific aid; transmit request; receive requested people/thigns.
What can you say if all you see is the stuff or people showing up 4 days late?

11. It's been two weeks since Katrina was a possible Category 5. She |
|
started out in Ghana where the waters are abnormally hot. She got pretty big, pretty fast and then..when she bounced over Florida it was written in the stars she would get bigger because the Gulf has hot waters too.
They had time.
Many command structures were gearing up that weekend. Bush told them to stand down.
Cause he is an asshole.
