Life Has Become Surreal.
This happened so quickly. The fear as the storm approached my area. The horror at how awful the damage was to the coast and many miles inland. The rage at BUSH's governmental abandonment. Then...

The militarization of NO. The use of words like "combat operation" and "insurgents" and "shoot to kill" and of course the lies that things are already getting better. In fact my local news was happy perky saying that relief was in full swing and the worst is over. YET, National News reporters are giving reports that sound like something out of Fallujah, not my backyard.

Is this coming soon to all of us?

2. Perhaps Bush should change his name to Bosch
I have felt like I was living in a surreal world since the 2000 election and the nightmare just keeps getting worse and worse.
