My new Democratic Talking Point |
|
Hey "security moms" - yeah, I'm talking to you. Remember when you voted for George Bush because he'd keep y'all safe and sound? Keep your precious babies safe and sound?
Well, imagine this. Imagine a terrorist gets through and does something horrific in your town. Horrific and big. Really big. And imagine the federal government's response is exactly like that in New Orleans. Feeling safe?
Oh, and remember. When terrorists attack, you don't generally get three days' notice.
Have you imagined that Bush has kept your babies safe and sound?

Mind if I use it? I know *many* security moms still living in their bubble. I'm carrying a big pin with me to burst their bubble from now on...

I have three children of my own (teenagers now) but I remember well how vulnerable you feel when they're tiny and bad things are happening around you. For us, it was tornadoes that, fortunately, never came too close, but threatened, and a flood once that flooded our neighborhood but left our house untouched.
NO mother in her right mind can watch what's happening to the people in New Orleans and then keep a straight face and say that Bush can protect them from *anything*.

3. Bush don't care, all he cares about is our tax $$ he can steal |
|
Thats all they care about. And isn't it a coincidence that the main area in the country where the outdated oil refineries are located suddenly are ruined? Almost perfect timing since they just finished their multi-TRILLION @@ natural gas pipeline in Afghanistan? No one reports on this because it's natural gas, not oil. But this is where Bush and his cronies really scored. Not to mention all the bullshit contracts they get, charging us $180 for a gallon of gas and $300 for a toilet seat in KuwaiT. Not to mention the all you can eat buffets that fatass NG eat all day while Iraqi's starve to death a mile away.
