I just had a RWer say Aaron Broussard was lying
This is from another board:

"This guy is lying, the boots on the ground are telling me the opposite, that the FEMA and the Military are getting the job done while the locals are being idiots.

FEMA has not cut off any communication lines, they haven’t even been given the authority to use or have anything to do with local communication lines, there's no way they're cutting them off.

I think this guy is distraught, and is projecting his own departments mistakes and actions onto FEMA."

3. Is Broussard the guy who said, "Who's FEMA?" in response to being
asked if FEMA was in his area? I'm so sorry, but I'm really having trouble keeping track of people :(

11. Broussard is the guy that cried when he talked about one of his....
...employees who was called everyday by his mom to come get her. She stopped calling after she drowned.

Broussard was on Meet the Press with Russert when he broke down telling that story.

17. No, I think that was the Mayor of Hattiesburg, or some official of the
town. Can you imagine seeing trucks in the middle of the street three days after the diaster and having the drivers tell you that they cannot release the water or ice until FEMA tells them.

20. There ARE NO "boots on the ground"
Ask Congressman Charlie Melancon. I live in his district, which includes Plaquemines, St. Bernard and Terrebone and Lafourche parishes. I talked to the Congressman today....I rode through some of the parishes outside New Orleans today....THERE ARE NO "BOOTS ON THE GROUND" in any of the outlying parishes. In fact, there are no Red Cross or FEMA people there either! The local officials are still handling everything in those areas. I listen to WWL radio all the time, and Broussard and Sheriff Lee have been saying this all week...as have all the other city mayors, sheriffs and aldermen of the outlying parishes.....there is no federal presence anywhere outside the city of New Orleans.

One of many locals desperate for help, and wondering why it hadn't arrived.

If facts don't go along with what they've been brainwashed to think, they either ignore them or distort them.

21. Ask him\her to go visit Aaron Broussard's friend who kept
reassuring his Mother that help was coming all week long
until Friday night when she drowned.

To call this man a liar without Concrete evidence is the kind of vile shit rightwing fucktards do and may they burn in hell for it every last motherfucking one of them.
