they should have had those sandbags in by Tuesday instead of
today...pitiful. They have been filling the levee with sandbags all day. This is such a colossal failure. There just aren't enough words...:cry:

1. Mayor Nagin ordered those sandbags to be put in place
and the work to close the levee breaches given top priority on Tuesday but his orders were countermanded (I don't know by which organization).

Reality decided to intervene in politics. As expected.
