The Mississippi River from St. Bernard Parish up to the I-10 Bridge across the Mississippi in Baton Rouge is one massive line of chemical plants, petroleum refineries, chemical tank farms, petroleum tank farms, chemical docks, and petroleum docks (just like the Houston Ship Channel).

If tanks had been breached or caught fire - an environmental and toxicological catastrophe with a death toll matching or exceeding the death toll from breach of the levees.
