I am so upset. I heard a lady call NPR about the mules that haul tourists in the Latin Quarter. There was no way she could get them out. I mean we should be able to start thinking about the animals by now, it shouldn't be this bad.

3. It's All Black and White

It's because Repugs value Christian (TM) human life above anything else, without taking "quality of life" into consideration. Animals, quite simply, are for eating or pets; and as pets so long as they pose no inconvenience to humans being the top of the food chain.

So, take you pick: medicine (life) or your pet (you die). It's a heartbreaking choice for survivors waiting to be rescued.

What pets would Jeezus leave to suffer and die? Best to leave superficial debates like this up to the likes of Pat Robertson, Mr. All-Knowing Compassion and Fundraiser, and the mouthpiece for Jeezus himself.

16. they are not letting evacuee's take their pets

This has been all over the news and I'm sorry I know it's tense
but they should let those people in...
at minimum the psychological impact of having to abandon the family
dog who then dies and also isn't there to comfort the family is insult to injuiry on this.
