Everyone knows * screwed up, some people just can't admit it
that is at the core of the rw make-up, an intolerance for uncertainty. This is a characteristic psychological studies have found. as is inflexibility.

I'm not sure about any formal studies, but another strong charcteristic of a decent number of repugs is their fragile ego inability to admit that they might be wrong about something. These are the ones that can't even say, "well, I thought he was a good prez, but in the face of new information I've changed my mind.". They are inflexible and see admitting mistakes as a weakness rather than a strength. (thus the high divorce rate among rwers).

So don't worry, deep down they know that he is a total fuck-up, but will only admit in to themselves, maybe subconsciously, in their dreams, or nightmares rather.

2. Many know - but don't care
Because admitting would endanger their pet cause - gays, tax cuts, war, abortion...

4. Well, like I said last night...I'm kinda stunned at the lack of

concern for our fellow americans by RWers..not all...but still there are way too MANY.

I've read threads of other's encounters out there with RWers and their negative comments about the Katrina after math, negative comments of "those" people shoulda known better, negative comments on how poor bush was too overwhelmed et al. AND of course, RW radio hosts spewing their filth...

This is some serious shit. I'm STILL angry. NO single RWer who still has their heads up bushs butt had better EVEN THINK about talking to me about him or their point of view... Too much water has gone under the bridge and I'm completely intolerant.

5. I'm convinced the 30 percent or so
who still think of * as some kind of saviour hold to that in the same way fundies hold to their beliefs. They refuse even to hear any evidence to the contrary because it might cause them to question their own beliefs — and that's the beginning of the end for anything faith-based. (Witness the Babel Fish proving the non-existence of God.)
