"act in a timely manner"
This is how our dubious leader responded to the replacement death of one elderly white dude who had somewhat slightly racist tendencies.

Yet, when untold "po" folks died in the Gulf under his watch, * was compelled to go to a birthday party, eat cake, go golfing and biking, pimp his unfair medicare programs, rationalize his illegal war to a mixed bunch of enraged and somewhat senile WWII vets, who couldn't quite comprehend his analogy of how much he was so similar to FDR, and how his debacle of Iraq was so similar to saving Europe and was unquestionably redeeming the ME. One really savvy vet affixed "BS deflectors" to his ears. Then * got a free guitar. Woohoo.

I'm wondering why didn't he respond to the biggest natural disaster in recorded history by acting in a timely manner?

Why was the arrival of troops perfectly synchronized with his arrival to the area on Friday (five days after the disaster) ?

Meanwhile, a lot of people died. We'll probably never really know the real numbers. These people can't even count votes never mind the proportions of protestors or dead Iraqis. I'll bet there will be 100,000 deaths in the Gulf. We will never be told.

When we request a modicum of accountability, we're accused of playing politics. The idiots in charge are simply, grossly inept.

I am completely sickened.

I fear for our country.

4. We simply can't allow this gross ineptitude
to continue much longer. A massive tax revolt and a worker's strike may just be in order.

It is taxation without representation after all.
