BBC News is reporting it. Looks like it happened yesterday. I haven't seen it on our corporate whore news stations and neither has my husband.

(with a picture) The copter was red like Coast Guard, the discussion was why would they paint an Army copter red?

Maybe I can find it...

The report didn't say that, I just assumed. Thanks if you can find the thread, I'll continue reading....

3. I do not think it was a CG but it was red. Today on TV this was said
It was picking animals. By the way the CG has done a great job and they were there fast. Were they put in to Home Land? I do not think so. This was what they said, I think, when they did not wish to be put in.

7. Not a CG Helicopter. Coast Guard is part of Homeland (in)Security
Their competence is not affected by the idiots the now have to report to now. Thank goodness.

Homeland Security Department as it was created by the GOP is a joke. They just put a crapload of departments under a new structure and left the real intelligence agencies (the original source of the problem) alone.

9. It was a private helicopter.
I think it was involved with animal rescue. The two people on board were only slightly injured. I don't know if there were any animals on board. I saw it on TV last night.
