This is really early. I wonder what's up. Well, maybe I don't.

1. It's to show how hard he is working on the disaster and to let...
everyone know he will be back at the disaster area today for another photo-op.

2. I don't think it's any great mystery. It's called "saving face"...
...at any cost. They're in full, obscene PR mode, with Rove at the helm running the entire show. But as the RePugs like to say: "This is not the time for politics".

7. No Clarence Thomas?
I don't like Roberts' record and I don't think that he has sufficient judicial experience to be chief judge even if he were to the left of Dennis Kucinich. And as far as I know, he hasn't coughed up his entire, unsummarized and unredacted, tax returns for the past three years. What does this guy have to hide?

9. Experience?? When has that stopped Bush before?
The FEMA head is the best example. Bush doesn't choose by experience. He's got gut instincts for this sorta thing, I tell ya!

8. I'm thinking that, also. Something about the SCOTUS vacancy.
Fuck, he has nothing worthwhile to say about NO. Might as well divert attention somehow.
