The poor services and response from FEMA and HS are designed to
make government look bad so that the neocons can cry their mantra of "BIG government" is bad and we need to privatize government. But don't fall for it. FEMA already contracts out huge portion of their services and does HS. The entire fiasco of the DHS and placing FEMA and other organizations under it used 9/11 to set up a means to transfer huge sums of taxpayer monies to RW corporate cronies and make the average American feel good about it. Problem is, most Americans are much too ill-informed or uninformed or biased to understand what is happening in plain sight.

2. Halliburton was gonna get those anyway.
That's an increasingly long-standing relationship between the military and KBR and isn't worth a conspiracy theory over.

3. Bill Frist's Local New Orleans Hospital (private, for profit)
did not do a better job then the State of Louisiana's public hospital.

Don't let the "Tulane University" name fool you, Bill Frist's private, for profit . Failed like the State of Louisiana's Charity Hospital.
