I read this LTTE in the Minneapolis Tribune

"I learned during our peacekeeping deployment to Kosovo that the U.S. military can do near anything in short order with next to nothing.

"Ask them to patch that levee? Some sergeant would figure out how to patch it, repair it, make a new one, and they'd do it, in a day.

"Ask them to police an entire city? Been done.

"Air-Evac thousands of people? That's what they do.

"Build a tent-city with sanitation? They'd make two.

"Ask them to set up hospitals in the middle of nowhere? No problem.

"Build and staff a jail for looters? Yep. Seen it done.

"Where's the U.S. military in New Orleans?
